In order to promote the development of human resources who can comprehensively manage the integrated research and development of innovative semiconductor integrated circuits at this base, we have signed a memorandum of understanding with Meiji University and Nagaoka University of Technology regarding credit transfer for the development of semiconductor human resources. In the future, we plan to start operating a credit transfer system among the five universities, including Toyohashi University of Technology and Hiroshima University, which are already in operation.

At ECS PRiME 2024, held in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 8th, Shinya Imai, a third-year doctoral student at Tokyo University of Science, the representative institution of our center, was invited to give a lecture titled "High Crystallinity of MoS2 by Film Annealing in Sulfur Atmosphere and Plasma Control during RF Sputtering."

The 24th International Conference on Ion Implantation Technology 2024 was held in Toyama from September 20th to 26th, and about 300 prominent engineers and researchers from around the world, as well as semiconductor equipment manufacturers and device manufacturers, gathered in Toyama to discuss topics ranging from basic research on ion implantation technology to industrial applications and equipment. At this conference, our leader, Dr. Wakabayashi, served as Conference Chair and the conference ended successfully.

At the Autumn Meeting of the Japan Society of Applied Physics held at Toki Messe in Niigata City from September 16th to 20th, our leader Dr. Wakabayashi gave oral presentations on the two topics "2D Materials and Device Technology for 3D-Stacked FETs" and "Joint Technology in Cutting-Edge Login LSIs."

The "Integrated Green-niX Human Resource Development Program Integrated Circuit Fabrication Training Basic Course" has begun at Toyohashi University of Technology. This training is a practical program for students of technical colleges across the country, and over the course of five days they will learn circuit design, processes, and measurement methods in a straight line.
