In order to promote the development of human resources who can comprehensively manage the integrated research and development of innovative semiconductor integrated circuits at this base, we have signed a memorandum of understanding with Meiji University and Nagaoka University of Technology regarding credit transfer for the development of semiconductor human resources. In the future, we plan to start operating a credit transfer system among the five universities, including Toyohashi University of Technology and Hiroshima University, which are already in operation.

The 24th International Conference on Ion Implantation Technology 2024 was held in Toyama from September 20th to 26th, and about 300 prominent engineers and researchers from around the world, as well as semiconductor equipment manufacturers and device manufacturers, gathered in Toyama to discuss topics ranging from basic research on ion implantation technology to industrial applications and equipment. At this conference, our leader, Dr. Wakabayashi, served as Conference Chair and the conference ended successfully.

The "Integrated Green-niX Human Resource Development Program Integrated Circuit Fabrication Training Basic Course" has begun at Toyohashi University of Technology. This training is a practical program for students of technical colleges across the country, and over the course of five days they will learn circuit design, processes, and measurement methods in a straight line.
